Fr Marco Tasca - Minister General
Fr Marco Tasca, OFM Conv, the Minister General of the Conventual Franciscan Friars, and the 119th Successor of St Francis of Assisi, visited the Mission this past weekend. Fr. Marco was elected to the post (see 23rd June 2007 Blog) for a six year term. While attend
ing meetings with the English speaking provincials of the North America, Great Britain and Ireland in Pt St Lucie, Florida, he and his assistant Br John-
Joseph Dolan took time out of their busy schedule to see the mission first hand. During his short stay Fr Marco and Br John-Joseph had opportunity to meet with Archbishop Reece, Msgr Albert, assist with weekend Masses in Rock Hall and Above Rocks, and today they visited at Cassava River for Devotional and saw the happenings here on the compound at St Mary's.
