CLUSTER DAY 2009

The 2nd Annual Cluster Day for the Archdiocese of Kingston's - Catholic Schools Initiative was held at St Mary's, Above Rocks, on Tuesday, 12 May 2009. These cluster days are another avenue to re-claim our Catholic schools at the secondary (high school) level. Our cluster involves: St Mary's College, Marymount High and St Catherine High School. The theme this year: Like St Paul, Boldly Catholic! The begins with a devotional (songs, scripture and a reflection) led by Fr Michael Heine; a keynote address on the topic by Ms Velia Espeut; Liturgy with Msgr Albert (our Episcopal Vicar) and homily by Fr Brad; lunch, small groups and then the school challenge. Teams from each school handled questions on basic faith, sacraments and St Paul. When the final bell rang it was: Marymount -43 points; St Catherine -45 points and St Mary's -46 points. Next year we will gather at St Catherine High School, Spanish Town.
